LET US LEARN ABOUT THE SYNTAX
इंग्लिश भाषा के grammar में syntax की अहम भूमिका होती है। यह शब्दों और वाक्यों का अरैन्जमेंट कहलाता है। इसके अंतर्गत वर्ड ऑर्डर और सब्जेक्ट-वर्ब-एग्रीमन्ट को शामिल किया जाता है।
सब्जेक्ट-वर्ब-एग्रीमन्ट (SS:PP अर्थात singular subject के साथ singular verb और plural subject के साथ plural verb) के तीन अपवाद हैँ –

EXCEPTION 2
SS : PP अर्थात singular subject के साथ singular verb और plural subject के साथ plural verb) के नियम का पालन तब भी नहीं होता है जब वाक्य subjunctive mood में हो, अर्थात जिसमें कल्पना, अभिलाषा और असंभव शर्त का भाव reflect होता हो।

ऐसी परिस्थितियों में भी SS : PP अर्थात singular subject के साथ singular verb और plural subject के साथ plural verb) के नियमों का पालन नहीं किया जाता है –
