To dole out – to distribute something, especially money to several people (लोगों को कोई चीज विशेष रूप से धन बांटना) The government has decided to dole out thousands of rupees to the families living below the poverty line.
To doze off – to fall asleep for a short time especially when not intended (जब इरादा न हो तब सो जाना, ऊंघना) The lady dozed off in the meeting. The meeting was very boring and participants started dozing off very soon.
To ease off – to become less in intensity (तीव्रता में कमी होना) Now we should start for the college as the rain has started to ease off.
